Googly Eye Dolls Guide and Marks
These funny and cute dolls were popular as novelty dolls during the 1910s-1920. They are not less popular among the collectors today. The term "Googly" means impish faced, large eyed character dolls. The dolls are also known as "Rougish Eyes", Goo-Goo eyes, Goggle eyes and Eccentric eyes. Here are some of the examples of Googly Eyes dolls with marks and identifications.

Collectors, not aware that some of the characters were made that way, have had the eyes changed to the sides. This 200 series apparently did not have a name, but the 253 dolls were marketed under the tradename "Peero" in 1915.
